About Rule 5 Collective
Rule 5 Collective is a personal record of sporting moments that mattered — the races you finished, the climbs you conquered, and the places you were lucky enough to play.
The idea
Rule 5 Collective began with endurance sport: long runs, hard climbs, and that moment when the finish still feels miles away.
But it grew into something bigger — because not every sporting moment worth remembering is about suffering. Sometimes it’s about place. Occasion. A day you’ll never repeat.
Different experiences — same feeling: this mattered.
Why “Rule 5”
“Rule 5” is a long-standing mantra in cycling culture. It’s blunt. It’s simple. It means: when it gets hard — continue.
We don’t plaster the original phrase across the site. We don’t need to. We’ve cleaned up the language — but not the meaning.
The hard part is the point. And so is the place you reached.
What this is
- A personal record of events and sporting milestones (Running, Cycling, and iconic rounds)
- Space for reflections, photos, and ratings — if you want them
- Inspiration to find your next meaningful challenge or venue
- Private by default — share only what you choose
What this isn’t
- Not a training app
- Not a leaderboard
- Not a Strava replacement
- Not about rankings, pace, or PB obsession
This is about memory and meaning — not comparison.
Tiers
Events are grouped into Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze. The tiers reflect the significance of the experience — not your status.
Every tier counts. The difference is scale, not worth.
